The ram is the key component in the stainless steel pressure seal gate valve, serving as both the opening and closing mechanism. It moves perpendicular to the direction of the fluid flow. This gate valve has only two positions - fully open or fully closed - and cannot be adjusted or throttled. The valve body, bonnet, gate plate, and gate rod are all constructed with stainless steel materials like CF8, CF3, CF8M, CF3M, etc. The valve seat's sealing surface is made of materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene, stainless steel+cemented carbide, or hardfacing cemented carbide. As for the filler, it commonly employs cemented carbide, polytetrafluoroethylene, asbestos graphite, or flexible graphite. Features
The stainless steel pressure seal gate valve is crafted from austenitic stainless steel, making it ideal for use with oxidizing acid medium, as it is highly resistant to corrosion. The ram moves perpendicular to the medium's flow, decreasing the opening and closing torque and reducing the effort required for operation.
